QRS Biofeedback Trainer

NEW: QRS Biofeedback Trainer

The combination of the QRS Pelvicenter with the QRS Biofeedback Trainer expands the options of a multimodally designed pelvic floor training program. The QRS Pelvicenter is used for effective strength training, while the QRS Biofeedback Trainer improves the pelvic floor’s coordination.

The QRS Biofeedback Trainer is a pelvic floor training device that bioactively “scans” and records the activities of the pelvic floor muscles through a special sensor* integrated into the seat surface. During training, muscle movements are measured by the sensor and displayed visually on a screen.

The software offers various program modes: free training, two guided training programs, and a so-called “game mode.” The training progress and success are subsequently evaluated by the software.

The patient continuously watches the screen and the tasks displayed on it during training. For example, the basic training requires to follow a curve by targeted contraction, brief holding, and slow relaxation. The more accurately the patient performs this task, the better. As training progresses, conscious muscle contraction increasingly matches the prescribed target.

In the so-called “game mode,” the patient controls a paddle against a ball rebounds, similar to an earlier video game. By contracting the pelvic floor, the paddle can be moved upward, and by relaxing the pelvic floor muscles, it can be moved downward in order to hit the ball. This gives the training a highly interactive motivational character that subconsciously stimulates the pelvic floor musculature.

A Meaningful Extension of QRS Magnetic Stimulation

The training device expands QRS magnetic stimulation with the following therapeutic possibilities:

  • Diagnosis, measurement, and recording of the current condition of pelvic floor muscle strength
  • Assessment of the neuromuscular function of pelvic floor activation
  • Assessment and active training of the pelvic floor muscles’ coordination
  • Supportive awareness training for improved independent training
  • Improvement of the neuromuscular fine motor skills of the pelvic floor muscles
  • Documentation of the therapeutic progress of QRS Pelvicenter magnetic stimulation
  • Alternative therapy in the event of possible contraindications to magnetic stimulation
QRS Pelvicenter and QRS Biofeedback Trainer

Form a meaningful therapeutic synergy for pelvic floor treatment: the QRS Pelvicenter is used for effective strength training, while the QRS Biofeedback Trainer improves the pelvic floor’s coordination.

Sensor Technology Enables Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a method that can make physiological processes visible. In the QRS Biofeedback Trainer, this is achieved through specially designed sensor technology*, which allows conscious contractions of the pelvic floor muscles to be observed in real time on a screen. This enables comprehensive training control, meaning the patient learns to consciously and specifically contract their continence muscles.

The client learns in a playful way to consciously and specifically contract their continence muscles.

Combination Therapy: QRS Magnetic Stimulation and Biofeedback

For pelvic floor specialists, combination therapy using two systems, QRS Pelvicenter and QRS Biofeedback Trainer, represents the most advanced form of pelvic floor therapy.

With the QRS Biofeedback Trainer, among other things, the success of magnetic stimulation can now be objectively determined during every phase of therapy.

Using the Biofeedback Trainer, the current condition of a weakened pelvic floor can be objectively assessed and patients can be shown the necessity of pelvic floor training. The first signs of stress urinary incontinence are often not taken seriously, even though the condition of the pelvic floor requires urgent intervention. In addition, the success of magnetic stimulation can now be objectively determined during every phase of therapy with the QRS Biofeedback Trainer.

Alternative Therapy with the QRS Biofeedback Trainer

If a patient cannot be treated with magnetic stimulation on the QRS Pelvicenter due to existing contraindications, the use of the QRS Biofeedback Trainer is a meaningful and effective alternative. It also provides the opportunity to begin pelvic floor training during pregnancy, thereby minimizing the risk of childbirth-related incontinence.
